I currently teach social studies at New Brighton Area High School and I was the district’s Technology Integrator until the state budget cuts eliminated the position. I was the Southwest Regional Director for PAECT, the Pennsylvania Association for Educational Communications and Technology, until I became the Vice President of PAECT. I was also one of the leaders for my daughter’s Girl Scout Troop.
My philosophy is for students to be able to learn from anywhere they are in the world, using the resources they have available. That is why I have an online classroom and most of the class resources can be accessed from any type of Internet capable device from this website. I am an advocate of students publishing their work and building a positive digital footprint to build upon as they get ready to move into the working world of the future.
