IMPORTANT NEWS AND NOTES

This page is meant to give parents a review of topics covered in class.  General overviews will be mentioned, which can be complimented by information from your children. I hope you find this information useful.

We are starting the 2024/2025 School Year with some activities so we can all learn a bit about each other. While students are woking on this project they will be learning some necessary skills on Digital Citizenship and media creation.

The weekly class podcast is continuing with CLASS UPDATES, OPTIONAL ENRICHMENT OPPORTUNITIES, and SCHOOL NEWS. I highly encourage parents and students to check out the podcast, which is linked in Schoology, on my blog located at http://mrsal.edublogs.org, and on this website. That will have the most current updates for class.

KEEPING INFORMED

Parents are encouraged to keep abreast of what and how their son/daughter is doing in class.  There are several ways for parents keep informed of class activities and student progress.

The official grades for students are posted on CSIU.  However, since we will be using Schoology as our online classroom platform assignment grades can also be found there.

Emails are another way for parents to keep in touch.  My school email is dsalvucci [at] nbasd.org.  Traditional phone calls take the longest for me to reply since I cannot return calls until the room is empty.At Welcome to My World..., we foster an interactive learning environment where students are encouraged to participate actively.
